RB Ruth Barb May I'm an active Mormon girl. God loves every last one of us, regardless of religious affiliation. There are all kinds of Mormons, and we as exmormons should know better than to stereotype our former selves. I was sure I was just over sensitive until I read your posts. Plus there's a lot of things we didn't get taught growing up that are slowly coming out through the Internet. It certainly isn't easy. Anyway, i know that this is not the experience of every surgical marriage but i guarantee most of them can relate in some way or another. The woman's role is to grow up, marry a worthy priesthood holder, and have a lot of kids. It's a foolish dream I suppose.
When I hear some of the issues going on in Mormon Land, I usually say to myselfв. Mormonism, like many extreme religions, often stunts the growth of its members. Can they keep a job and or clean up after themselves. In five short days. Oh, and remember LDS girls are usually good at leading guys on with potential sex to get guys to agree to what they want join the church. Nor was there a lack of compassion or respect. This means no swearing, loud talking, or making offensive jokes. It sounds like she's already considered marrying you and raising children in the church even with you being out of the church. I hope it all works out for you. The right age for getting married varies depends for men and women.
I'm so comforted by this thread. She's admitted to loving me before but she has problems and issues with what she wants. Submit a new text post. My next serious boyfriend was raised Methodist but considered himself non-denominational Christian and people would comment on that instead of his character. Now, he has just started a new training in a new country and i am so lonely here. He sees all families being able to stay together.
So I feel a little frightened after reading this blog. That is a goal worth fighting for. This sub is a great place to do that. Don't have any support as family is too far away and we're always on the move.
