Yummy Garlic Shrimp Tacos recipe

Shrimp tacos are one of my favorite dishes when meeting with friends. They are easy to prepare and you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. You can use the tortillas that come toasted or the soft ones, cut them to give them the desired size, and make them a perfect snack. Prepare them for your next meeting and enjoy these culinary delights!

Ingredients:

  • 8 large wheat tortillas
  • one butter spoon
  • one small onion, chopped
  • two garlic cloves, minced
  • one tablespoon chili powder
  • two lb small shrimp, raw
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
    one teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1. Cut tortillas with a 2 1/2 in. Cookie cutter, and set aside.

2. Melt the butter in a large skillet, add the onion and garlic. Stir fry for 2 minutes over low heat.

3. Season shrimp with chili powder, salt, and pepper. Incorporate them into the sofrito, cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove them and sprinkle the parsley on the preparation.

4. Serve over tortillas.

How to make Tilapia with Lemon and Chili

Do you want to eat more fish? Try this tilapia covered with high fiber cereals that you can serve at dinner in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

Fish

  • one lb of slightly firm-textured fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or sea bass), about 3/4 inch thick
  • one cup original bran cereal
  • one teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • one teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • two tablespoons canola or vegetable oil

 

Willow

  • 1/3 cup light fat-free mayonnaise
  • one tablespoon lemon juice (yellow)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 pinch of ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 pinch of salt (about 1/8 teaspoon equals one piece)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven 450 ° F. Spray the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch tray or pan with cooking spray. Cut the tilapia widthwise so that 2-inch-wide pieces remain. Put the cereal in a resealable plastic food bag, close it, and finely grind the cereal with a rolling pin or meat hammer (or finely grind it in a food processor).

2. In a shallow bowl, mix together cereal, lemon zest, teaspoon chili powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. In another shallow bowl, place the milk. Dip the fish pieces into the milk, then top with the cereal mixture; place them on the tray. Spray the fish with oil evenly.

3. Bake uncovered 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients except the cilantro until just combined. Add the coriander and stir. Serve the sauce with the fish.

This dish is spicy, but if you prefer you can do it without the chipotles and use the jalapenos devoid and seedless.

2 Roast the jalapeno peppers in a bowl and grind them together with the chipotles in the blender with a little water. Add the chili peppers to the tomato sauce and let it cook for 15 minutes.
3 In a bowl season the shrimps with cumin, salt, and pepper. In a separate skillet add the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp until they turn pink.
4 Add the shrimp to the sauce and serve immediately accompanied by avocado chips and white rice.
